• Notion launched Home 

• Home is a dashboard for consolidating the most common use

• You can create a tasks dashboard here

• Basically Notion wants you to visit this when you log in

• It aims to save you time jumping about and to make this your default homepage allowing you to see the most important tasks & pages.

• You can customize it a little, but we can expect them to build this out.

✅ Using Task Databases

• This is your most important task area

• Any of your databases can become “My Tasks” and they can be adapted to any view and filtering that suits you

• You can choose any view, any filters, any sorting & more all within this window and it is a fixed state on the Home area in Notion

• This is a nice feature and something that can be customized a lot

👀 Buttons get COLOURS

• A better way to manage buttons

• Cleaner colour palettes for each of the buttons you add

• This will make them pop per page and give focus onto them

🎧 Tabs now MOVE!

• A simple one, tabs can move

• But much more like a web browser allowing you to re-organize and sort

• This is helpful for prioritising work, putting the most important page to process first and the rest in order might help deep work focus.

📰 Skiff News, what does it mean?

• Skiff has been acquired by Notion

• Skiff have now extended to 12 months forwarding until into 2025

• What does it mean for Notion then?

• Skiff Mail will likely become Notion Mail - however, this is not confirmed and no hints have been dropped to this

• With the acquisition of Cron Calendar, Notion turned it into Notion Calendar to offer a calendar app by the side of Notion
